The IEEE Consumer Electronics Society is soliciting technical papers for oral and poster presentations at their 35th annual conference, IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics (ICCE) to be co-located with CES® trade show in Las Vegas. ICCE is the established forum for innovative research in all areas of consumer electronics. This year new activities have been included in the program in order to have a more exciting conference. The Executive Committee hopes these new activities help to improve your experience during ICCE.
Conference Theme: Virtual and Augmented Lifestyle
This year during the Mobile World Congress Mark Zuckerberg stated that: “VR is the next platform … the most social platform”. VR/AR technology has reached a level of maturity where it is about to impact on our daily lifestyle. Contributions involving research that enables new augmented consumer devices, systems or services are particularly encouraged.
New for 2017, ICCE will feature affinity tracks organized with the IEEE Biometrics and RFID councils, the IEEE Cloud Computing initiative and the IEEE Society for the Social Implications of Technology. There will also be a dedicated Industry Track to highlight new and emerging industry research activities.

NEW THIS YEAR: CO-SPONSORED TECHNICAL TRACKS; Merging Research Fields for CE
This year Co-Sponsored Technical Tracks driven by IEEE Councils and Technical Committees are included
in the program. These communities have significant overlap with Consumer Electronics and
ICCE provides an excellent opportunity for networking.
Additional Journal publication opportunities are available in RFID Journal, Transactions on Cloud Computing, and Technology in Society
Magazine. Paper submissions should follow the same protocol as for main ICCE tracks.
-IEEE Council on RFID
-IEEE Biometric Council
-IEEE Cloud Computing
-IEEE Society on Social Implication of Technology
