Review and overview. The author should describe the present state of knowledge and, if appropriate, provide references. This should lead to an overview of the new direction taken.

Development method/procedures. The methods and reasons for the design choices should be described in sufficient detail for readers to be able to judge the validity, reliability and general applicability of the results.

Results. Important results should be well summarized. More complete experimental results are expected in a paper than space allows in a summary. The results should be directly related to the topics presented in the introduction and in the overview of the new direction taken.

Conclusion. The final section should highlight the author's contribution. That is, what do we now know that we did not know before this paper was presented? It should also mention limitations of the work and provide suggestions for future improvement in this are in

References. A good paper lists references that support key statements and assumptions.
Accepted Oral Presentations

A two-page camera- ready digest paper for each accepted oral and poster presentation will be published in the Digest of the ICCE. The digest will be provided on CD-ROM to all conference registrants, and a limited number of print copies of the digest book will also be available for order during conference pre-registration.

2014 Submission Instructions - Please Read Carefully

New again in 2014: Summary papers accepted for oral presentation can be submitted in two forms for the Digest of the ICCE. Please submit a two-page final digest paper if you also intend to submit a full paper to the Transactions on Consumer Electronics or any of the Associated Journals. You can also submit a four-page final paper for the digest but in this case there will be no option for a Journal publication. The length of your final paper must be adjusted, irrespective of the form of the summary paper initially submitted Prepare your two- or four-page, two-column paper for publication in the Digest of the ICCE.
You must follow the formatting instructions on this site. A Microsoft Word template and Latex Template file has been provided. -
Important Information on Paper Numbers: No paper number is required for 2014.

Avoid commercialism in text and figures. Use of company names and/or part numbers is strictly prohibited.

Submit a PDF of the final version of your paper to the online submission system.
Only PDF documents will be accepted. To make sure your pdf is IEEE compliant, please go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at www.pdf-express.org Click on the link "New Users - Click Here" and fill in your information. You will need the Conference ID that will be provided later -
It is highly recommended that papers be submitted as soon as possible so that any problems can be resolved before publication.
Note: You must use Type 3, Korean, Asian, Japanese, or Chinese font packages in your paper, (for best printing results TimesNewRoman is recommended). Make sure ALL the fonts used in your paper are Embedded and Subsetted (even the basic/standard use 8.5" x 11" Letter size paper. A4 size will not be accepted. -

Submit the IEEE COPYRIGHT FORM following the instructions in the paper submission system.
There are specific instructions that include the phone number to fax the form to that is available when you submit your Digest Paper. -

Register the presenting author for the conference. At least one author per paper should register by October 10th.

Prepare your oral or poster presentation following the instructions on this web site.

Present your paper at the conference. Arrange for a substitute speaker or poster
presenter if necessary because "no shows" will not be tolerated. Be sure to see the guides to "Presenting Your Paper/Poster at ICCE" on this site for advice. If you have already registered and you need to arrange for someone else to present your paper, you must change the registsration to their name.
GENERAL NOTES
- Arrange for necessary travel documentation and funding immediately. The holiday weeks prior to the conference may cause delays in visa processing.
- Reserve a hotel room. Rooms in Las Vegas during the CES will be scarce, especially on the weekend. It is important to reserve a room using the procedure on the lodging page.
