It is my pleasure to invite you to the 32nd International Conference on Consumer Electronics (ICCE) in Las Vegas, where international delegates from industry, academia and government will converge to present their innovations and preview state of the art technologies. ICCE is the platform where technology enablers and prototypes are debuted before they appear in products for applications such as home, mobile and automotive entertainment and services.
Our 2014 conference theme is Next Generation Mobility, the “2.0” level of experience with the promise of collective intelligence, richer features and functionality, as well as improved connectivity, interoperability and interaction for the large and growing base of smartphone users. These benefits have the potential to enhance consumer daily life in diverse areas, including entertainment, healthcare, travel, education and human communication – but many obstacles still remain.
A broad range of technical questions and considerations raised by this timely theme will be addressed at ICCE in a full four-day program with tutorials, special sessions and panels. Big name keynotes speakers will present their individual views on the opportunities and challenges from a consumer technology perspective. Other topics listed in the Call for Papers will be covered as usual.
Conference participants are granted free admission to the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, which coincides with ICCE and represents an excellent opportunity to see the latest product innovations and make the most of the trip.
