Regular papers

The way you can contribute to ICCE is pretty flexible. A contribution to ICCE consists of a paper and a presentation. There is also a potential opportunity to contribute further in CE Society Journals:

  • ICCE papers will be published in IEEE Xplore and will be accessible to researchers all over the world.
  • The presentation will be shown to the ICCE audience allowing you to get feedback for improving your research, engage in interesting technical discussions, find potential contributions and make networking.
  • After the conference, you are encouraged to submit an extended version to the very well-known IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics (or other CE Society Journals).

Article preparation

How to proceed? With these previous three things in mind, you only need to take some decisions before submitting:

  1. Choose your article length. If you are looking forward to contribute to IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, just write a two pages article. In this way, you will get all the best from the conference and you can submit an article to the IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics special issue.  Otherwise, if you are not interested in submitting an extended version of paper to the IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics you can go for a four pages article so will have more space to divulge your work. In both cases, the article will be published in the IEEExplore. However, authors that are unsure which option to consider should note that the scope of the ICCE is broader than that of the Transactions. Extended papers may be published in the conference proceedings in IEEEXplore that may not fall within the scope of the transactions
  2. Choose your presentation type. Some people prefer to present their work by giving a speech around a presentation; others prefer a face to face presentation around a poster. In ICCE conference you decide whether to make an oral presentation or a poster presentation of your article and this applies to both two and four pages article.

More information about article preparation here.

Submitting

Once you have finished your contribution, go to EDAS and submit your contribution. Please, consider the following before submitting:

  • Papers will only be accepted in PDF format. Generate a letter size PDF from your article and ensure it is two or four pages long (depending on your decision).
  • Prepare a text-only abstract of approximately 35-50 words (no more than 300 characters). And paste it into the appropriate box in the online submission form.
  • Select the conference topic group and primary topic that most closely matches the subject area of the paper. Optionally, select further topics. The primary topic selection will be used to match reviewers to your paper so it is important to make a careful selection.

You will be notified by email according to the important dates if your paper is accepted or not and will receive further instructions.

Camera ready and registration

If your work has been accepted, congratulations! There few important things to do:

Create the camera ready paper and upload to the paper submission system, following the instructions in your acceptance email.

Please read these instructions first. Then read the instructions on the Registration Page on this site.  Then you can Register for the conference here.

Currently, the magazine is published on a quarterly basis and features a range of topical content on state-of-art consumer electronics systems, services and devices and associated technologies. The Magazine features regular sections devoted to standards, patents & IP matters, security & digital content, device tear-downs and reviews of books and engineering software & design tools. If you are interested in contributing please contact the editor in chief (EiC) at saraju.mohanty@unt.edu for feedback and to discuss the suitability of your ideas for an article. Instructions for authors - Industrial tracks

Regular papers

A contribution to ICCE consists of a presentation. There is also a potential opportunity to contribute further in CE Society Journals or the Consumer Electronics Magazine:

  • Industrial track is intended for presentation only. To be included in Xplore, the paper has to be submitted in R&D-Academic Track.
  • These contributions will not be published in the post conference proceedings nor in IEEE Xplore but we require permission to post the details of the talk in the website. Moreover, we may request authors to provide a copy of the slides to be distributed in a USB during the conference.
  • The contribution should be presented to the ICCE audience.
  • The board of industrial experts may encourage you to submit an extended version to the CE Society Journals.

Contribution preparation

How to proceed?

  1. Prepare an abstract of 500 words, a title for your talk and provide the speaker bio.
  2. Prepare any template-free material for evaluation. An abstract may not be enough in some cases to determine the relevance with regard to the conference topics. Due to that, we encourage authors to upload any other material such as presentations or , documents that can help the board of industrial experts to evaluate the work.

Submitting

Once you have finished your contribution, go to EDAS and submit your contribution. Be sure you select Industrial Track or Industrial Contribution when required.

You will be notified by email according to the important dates if your contribution is accepted or not and will receive further instructions.

Registration

Please read these instructions first. Then read the instructions on the Registration Page on this site.  Then you can Register for the conference here.

Presentation

Please, discuss any presentation details with the track chair. You may be asked to share the slides of your talk after or during the conference.
